On Saturday, March 4, the Friends of the Shafter Library, along with the Shafter Women’s Club, will be hosting a Home, Garden, and Community Spaces tour. The tour will feature private homes, a home garden, along with various Shafter community spaces. For a $20.00 tax deductible donation to the Friends of the Shafter Library you will be able to go on a self guided tour between the hours of 10:00am-1:00pm. Tickets may be purchased at the Shafter Library and Learning Center, 236 James St., beginning February 20 between the hours of 8:00am and 7:00pm, Monday - Friday. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the event.

The tour will begin at the Shafter Library and Learning Center where you can pick up your list of tour stops beginning at 9:30am. You can also enjoy a cup of coffee and a sweet treat, provided by the Shafter Women’s Club, before you begin your tour. The FoSL and the Shafter Women’s Club hope you will join us and enjoy seeing some of the wonderful spaces Shafter has to offer! All proceeds will go to the Friends of the Shafter Library.
